CIVIC INVOLVEMENT AND EDUCATION

Pontius Pilate asked "What is Truth?" ... Truth is hard to find ... truth is very narrow.  Lies and half truths are everywhere.  In media, in advertising, in politics, in education, even in church!  Is there even such a thing as Absolute Truth?  I believe there is and I think that if we want to have successful lives and successful communities, we need to discover and speak the TRUTH in every area of life.  In speaking the Truth we need to be kind and choose our words carefully ... the Apostle Paul wrote that we should "speak the truth in love" ... but many people don't bother with the truth part, only the love part.  I think we need both.
